Clinical Services/Features

Neurosurgery at Teikyo University Hospital established a new clinical system, and Masahiro Shin was appointed as chief professor as of May 1, 2021. We treat a wide range of cranial nerve diseases, from various organic diseases such as cerebrovascular disorders, brain tumors, head trauma, and congenital anomalies to functional diseases such as hydrocephalus, facial spasms, trigeminal neuralgia, and post-stroke spasticity. Our department’s concept is to provide “minimally invasive treatment” that reduces the burden on the patient’s body and that maximizes therapeutic effectiveness, and we treat patients so that their condition can improve soon and they can resume their lives.
