In Neurology, we deal with structural (non-psychological) diseases of the nervous system (brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles). The symptoms to be treated range widely, including headaches, numbness, dizziness, diplopia, difficulty speaking, inability to move limbs, shivering and gait disturbance. In our department, we work with local medical facilities to provide treatment of acute illnesses such as stroke, encephalitis, and meningitis, as well as conditions ranging from intractable neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to general diseases such as migraines.
